The top of the dress also has elastic for the right fit as well as frilly lace trim. The bottom portion of the dress looks and feels like red crushed velvet. Beneath the skirt portion, there are several layers of tulle to give volume. The black vest zips up the back and looks like faux leather. The front ties up with a black strap, and also features gold trim down the sides of the front.
